The Citation Longitude is the largest airplane currently being certified at Textron Aviation. A close competitor to Bombardiers Challenger 350, it has a range of 3500 nm with four passengers and flies at speeds of .83 Mach. This airplane features the Honeywell HTF7700L turbo-fan engines, a design that is commonly used in this class of airplane but engineered with more fuel efficiency than ever before. These upgrade keep operating costs low on this airplane at just under $2,000 an hour which make it an ideal charter aircraft.

While certification has been delayed Textron Aviation reports to begin deliveries in the fall of 2018 and ramp up manufacturing throughout 2019. The Longitude has debuted at EBASE, NBAA, and all over the world with a very positive response. Looking forward it is sure to be the next best Super Mid Size jet of the decade.
